June 2014

June 8th is the day!  We will be kicking off our new Sunday Grill.  After worship throughout the summer months our fellowship snack time will be moved outside to the playground, and instead of cookies and punch we will be offering a hot lunch of BBQ hamburgers, hot dogs, veggie burgers, veggie dogs, chips, water, and soda all for a $3 donation.

The idea behind the Sunday Grill is to promote more connections within the church body. Having times to sit and talk to others during lunch will help us meet others attending SCFBC. Not everyone will eat lunch at the Sunday Grill every week, but we hope you will try it out during the summer and take advantage of the opportunity to meet some new people and make some new friendships.

Looking for Helpers

If you like grilling or helping ensure the tables are stocked with chips and beverages, let Adam Burdick or Karen Pusateri know (adam@scfbc.org).  Volunteers serving on a rotation basis are needed to help with setup/clean up and operating the grill on Sundays from June 8th to August 17th.
