SCFBC is opening the sanctuary on March 6th from 10am to 8pm to join in the observance of World Day of Prayer with prayer and meditation stations.   We will be setting up stations in the sanctuary with prayer emphasis directed towards different regions of the world and our missionaries.  Set aside an hour on this special day to partner with people all over the world praying as we do for the needs of the world and for the Holy Spirit's leading in what we can do.  If you would like to volunteer to host at the greeter's desk for an hour or two please contact Trudy at office@scfbc.org or Jerri Cooper at jerri@scfbc.org

World Day of Prayer is a world wide ecumenical movement of Christians of many traditions who come together to observe a common day of prayer each year on the first Friday of March.

This year's theme is from the sponsoring country of the Bahamas and calls us to consider Jesus' words to the disciples after washing their feet, "Do you understand what I have done for you?
