Redwood Glen

Dear Friends of Redwood Glen, We here at Redwood Glen are watching God do miracles. We sent the word out and you have responded. We are moving closer and closer to the goal of becoming water independent. All we can say is THANK YOU! So far we have raised over $135,000 in cash and promised goods towards our goal of $400,000. The first deadline we set was May 1. Even though we did not reach our goal by this past Sunday, we have raised enough to continue on with the mission that God has laid out for us.

With summer camp registrations coming in and more guest groups this year than ever before, our fundraising efforts continue and we hope to have $400,000 raised by year-end to pay in full our new water system.

We are blessed by the many, many donations we have received, which range from $20 to $1,000, and one very special donation. Of all the people who have donated, over 80% are first time givers to Redwood Glen. If you are one of them, we rise and give you a standing ovation! Thank you.

Upcoming Event

OPEN HOUSE & MILLER DEDICATION = Sat. June 25. It all starts at 11:00 am with the Children's Music And Drama Camp performance, followed by lunch in the picnic area. At 1:00 pm we will dedicate the new Miller Meeting Room (the former office) named after the entire Miller family for the many years of service that Ray, Romona, Denise, Debbie, and the rest of the clan have given to the ministry of Redwood Glen. Most of the Millers will be here for this event so this would be your chance to see them again and say hi. Reserve your lunch tickets here ($8 for adults, $5 for kids). I see many, many exciting changes taking place here. Erin, our Interim Food Services Manager, is transforming meals into Food Network quality. Ronald, as Interim Maintenance Manager, is moving the camp from maintaining mode into growth mode. Larry, Jay and Jeff are continuing to do their "director's magic" in filling the camp and making sure it all runs smoothly. As we celebrate 58 years of ministry, we know God has big plans in store for Redwood Glen. We hope that you will continue your support of our mission. If you are one of those who donated $20 to "Save Redwood Glen," I wonder if you would be willing to donate another $20. May be donate $20 per month for the rest of the year? Hopefully you will tell 20 people how much Redwood Glen means to you and ask them to donate $20. We are about one-third of the way towards our goal. That means we have two-thirds left to go.
