SHAKEN: Four Prayer Events

For Moving With The Holy Spirit Of God And Sustaining His Presence

The Spirit of God is moving in our church. We are going to pray to God as a church to sustain the move and flow of the Holy Spirit. God creates hunger and stirs our spirit, and He sends the sustaining Spirit to fan the flame

"And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness." (Acts 4:31)

"SHAKEN" Event Four: A Powerful Zeal For Salvation

Praying for the people in the city to experience the power of the kingdom of God. Praying for the salvation of our families, neighbors, classmates, and our friends in the workplace and in our communities.

The Zeal For Prayer Life

The zeal for life is sustained by a powerful zeal for a prayer life. When prayer is non-existent in a church, the fire of the Holy Spirit is extinguished. Just as breathing is necessary to sustain our life, the Holy Spirit is necessary to sustain the life of the church.

There is nothing more powerful than communion with God in prayer and in the Word. The movement of the Holy Spirit is an answer to overcome our anguish, anxiety, trials, and burdens. God creates the hunger within us, and He sends the sustaining Spirit to develop an intimate relationship with Him.

Intimacy with God is cultivated by intimacy with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is not only acquainted with our intimate groanings, but He is acquainted intimately with God. The Holy Spirit understands our groanings, and He groans for us.

The Zeal For The Word Of God

Victory in spiritual warfare comes through prayer and a daily dose of the Word of God. We cannot maintain our spiritual health without kneeling in prayer and meditating on the Word of God. God saturates us with His grace and peace when we lead a dedicated prayer life and  devote time to feed on the Bread of Life.

Intercessory prayer produces a repentant heart. When the church prays with intensity, the Spirit of God brings renewal and the people experience the loving kindness of God sustained by the Holy Spirit.

When the church prays and repents, it allows the Holy Spirit to move, and through His loving kindness, we experience the extravagant love of God. The Holy Spirit is the long-awaited Promised of God. We stoke the extravagant and powerful fire of God with prayer, worship, and by remaining in the Word.

The Holy Spirit moves as an answer to your prayers. He came to renew your life. He came to teach, guide, and empower you. What follows is that the indwelling of the Holy Spirit prompts you to pray and bears witness to the faithfulness of God. The anointing of oil of joy is from God. The joy of the Lord flows through you to touch another person's heart. God touches your heart to reach another person's heart.
