Worship in the Park is coming soon! In the Great Commission, Jesus calls us to “Go and make disciples of all nations....”
So, on Sunday, August 26th, we are going to leave the church campus and go to the Pavilion in Santa Clara Central Park. Worship in the Park is one of our largest outreach events of the year. We want to reach people outside the church who need to hear about God, His love, grace and compassion. We will share about how life can have purpose, meaning, and hope, and that these are all available through Jesus. In order for more people to hear this message, we need to bring the Gospel to the people where they are.
What is our part?
Each of us will receive three invitation cards for the event, and we ask that you pray about who in your life needs to receive an invitation. We encourage you to bring your friends, family and co-workers to the park that Sunday, and to be praying that their hearts will be open to receiving God's Word.
We are not meeting on the church campus that Sunday, as we will be worshiping outside in God's beautiful creation and proclaiming the Gospel to the world!
Schedule:
10:30 a.m. – Gathering Ourselves Together & Worship Service
12:00 p.m. – BBQ Lunch (optional donation)
1:00 p.m. – Games for All Ages
