Giovani in Cucina (Youth in the Kitchen)

The VIBE Youth spaghetti dinner fundraiser was a huge success! We exceeded our goal and raised $3,050 thanks to the generosity of the members and friends of SCFBC who attended. Fourteen youth servers worked very hard, providing great service to the 120 guests!

Bravo to Camille Cintas for performing beautiful Italian Arias, which was the highlight of the evening. 

Of course, our favorite waiter, Pepe, went from table to table, sprinkling pepper on everything from the salads to the spumoni.

All 10 gift baskets were sold at the silent auction and many of the winning bids exceeded the initial value of each basket. Thank you to Caron, Nicole, Trudy, Pat, Linda, Ross, Sharon, Allison, Lisa and Joel for providing the wide range of popular items for the auction.

Thanks also to all the youth who served, to the parents who supported, and to the amazing Chef Greg, Christine and Harvey, who ran our kitchen. And a special thanks to our awesome youth mentors: Matt, Danijela, Derek, Dan, Stacy and Allison, who worked so hard to make the night a great success.

All proceeds from the event will assist our VIBE youth by reducing the cost of the annual winter retreat in January.
