Introduction to SCFBC class
Pastor Valui held an "Introduction to SCFBC" class on Sunday, February 24th, in his office during the 9:15 a.m. Life Group and Bible study hour. Six people attended, and based on the information they received about the vision of the church – and their experience of meeting people by attending Life Groups and attending services – they are prayerfully considering membership here at Santa Clara First Baptist. Please pray for them as they consider this important next step.
An "Introduction to SCFBC" class will be given in Hindi to the two gentlemen baptized on February 17th, as they have expressed an interest in becoming members here also. Praise the Lord for the continued acceptance and understanding of God's Word in all languages here in the church!
Baptisms
Three people were baptized in February: Malkeet and Rupinder on the 17th, and Donald Clampitt on the 24th. Baptism is an outward display that a person has accepted the Lord into their heart, and that they want others to know they have made that commitment. Hallelujah!
Please talk with Pastor Valui, at 408-241-7635, about being baptized if you are interested. Currently, there is one more person considering baptism, and the baptism will be be as soon as she confirms with her family which Sunday is the best date for them to attend. Pastor can baptize you on the Sunday that is best for you and your family, too. And yes – the water is warm, in case you are wondering.
