What's Featured Now in the Lobby's Book Nook
The books and DVDs currently on display in the Book Nook in the church lobby continue to support Pastor Valui's sermon series, “Live Like Jesus,” which focuses on how we can apply the timeless message of Jesus in today's modern world. Maybe reading or viewing what someone else has done in their life or in their church will resonate with you, and then inspire you to seek new beginnings from God. As we read in books and see in movies, life is sometimes not a pretty picture, so we need to examine what we are doing, and listen carefully so we can hear what new things God wants us to do in the future. Are we ready for God's challenge? Change begins as soon as we accept the challenge He gives us.
Join the Library Life Group!
Please join us in the on-going Library Life Group that meets on Wednesday mornings at 10 a.m., as we work on a variety of library projects. We will train you on how to process new materials into the library's collection, how to select books and media materials based on both current and upcoming sermons for display in the Book Nook, and other interesting activities where you can help the library fulfill its ministry to the church.
You can sign up for the Library Life Group on-line, or just come to the library on Wednesday mornings. The library is located on the playground side of the main church building, in Room #19. Or you can come to the office, and Trudy will help you find us.
