We want to thank Santa Clara First Baptist Church members for being such faithful Dinner is Served contributors for so many years. Over 54,000 dinners have been enjoyed by our guests since JW House opened its doors in 2008. Your church has prepared many of them! Because of your continued generosity, JW House is able to continue to provide a home away from home for families facing medical crises.
JW Knapen had a vision. In the midst of battling brain cancer, he wanted to do something to help individuals, families, and their children who were facing difficult medical situations. He decided then and there that his life mission would be to build a "home away from home" for families facing medical crises.
Now in our 11th year, JW House has welcomed over 7,000 families, provided over 16,000 nights of lodging, and accommodated over 73,000 day-use visits. And our generous community of volunteers has logged over 78,000 hours of service!
Thank you, Santa Clara First Baptist Church, for all you do to support JW House, allowing us to keep JW's dream alive and thriving!
