Ministry Goals: It’s About Making Disciples
"And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers...praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.” (Acts 2:42,47)

God Did It
We give glory to God for adding to our church many souls and disciples in the 2018-2019 ministry year.

Big Shift
What happened?

  • We shifted our focus from numbers to God. We focused on being faithful and God gave the increase. We shared the Gospel and kept making disciples consistently.
  • We shifted our focus from setting “stretch goals” to “learning goals.” When we faithfully follow the instructions and commands of God, He gives the increase.

What Next?
God gave clear instructions to the church:

  1. Stay rooted in the Word.
  2. Keep on praying.
  3. Make disciples.

Ministry Goals 2019-2020
Reaching the goals for the next ministry year will be the direct result of following God’s instructions to this church.

Goal #1: Witnessing
We will teach, and learn together, how to share the Gospel with people who are hungry and seeking for God’s real love.

Goal #2: Discipleship
We will focus our ministry on devotion to the Word, Study, Prayer, Leading others to Jesus, and lifelong growth to spiritual maturity.

Goal #3: Stewardship (Church Health)
We will serve to improve the health of the church. These are the following metrics we will keep watch on as faithful stewards:

  • Conversions
  • Baptisms
  • Connections
  • Memberships
  • Giving
  • Life Group Participation
  • Sunday Attendance
  • Service

We commit these goals “To Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen” (Ephesians 3:20-21).
