Gratitude Prayer Night: Where Are The Nine?
"So Jesus answered and said, "Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?" (Luke 17:17-18)
God's Call To Prayer
At the beginning of August 2019, the Spirit of the Lord stirred my heart and urged me to call Santa Clara First Baptist Church to a deeper prayer life. This is a call to come together to pray and give thanks to God.
Seeking For The Right Response
I have been praying about how to respond to the call to prayer from God, and I have asked many people to pray on how to respond to the Holy Spirit.
Our Response: October 23, 7-8 PM
"Give thanks to God and give the glory due to God" are the words that filled my heart. To give thanks and glory to God, we will come together as a church on October 23, 7-8 PM, to pray.
- Give glory to God for exceeding the goal of $400,000 for the commUNITY park on the First Harvest Sunday.
Jesus Gave Thanks To God After The Successful Ministries Of The Disciples
"In that hour Jesus rejoiced in the Spirit and said, 'I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and revealed them to babes. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight.'" (Luke 10:21)

- Pray that the “Light The Night Fall Fest" will reach at least one family in our community with the love of Christ.
Jesus Asked, "Where Are The Nine?"
The leper, a foreigner, came back to give glory to God for healing him from leprosy. There were ten lepers, nine of whom were Jews, but the only leper who came back to give glory to God was a foreigner. Are you giving glory to God, so that at least ONE person or one family may come to experience the love of God?
