"Introduction to SCFBC" Class:

Congratulations to Marie; Elizabeth L. and her daughter Pamela; Dylan and his new bride Priscilla; and George and his wife Mlava â€“all of whom recently completed an "Introduction to SCFBC" class, where they learned what it means to become a member of Santa Clara First Baptist Church.

The next Introduction to SCFBC class is scheduled on Sunday, March 15th in Pastor Valui's office at 9:15 a.m. Please email the office at office@scfbc.org or valui@scfbc.org if you are interested in attending.

Baptisms: If you have been considering baptism, please let Pastor Valui know so that he can discuss it with you and help you select the Sunday for your baptism. Recent baptisms included Dylan and PriscillaGeorge and Mlava; and Enyo. The next baptisms are scheduled for mid-March and April. Baptism is an outward statement to the church that a person has accepted Christ to be their Savior, and that they are ready to share the Good News about becoming a Christian. Baptisms are always a time to celebrate!

New Members as of February 29th: Membership classes and baptisms lead to church membership. The following people have made that commitment to SCFBC and will soon receive the "Right Hand of Fellowship" as they are introduced to the congregation: Marie; Elizabeth L. and her daughter Pamela; Dylan and his new bride Priscilla; George and his wife Mlava; Elizabeth B; Alex and his wife Miji; and last but not least, Richard and his wife Susie, who are being reinstated as members as they rejoin the church. Welcome!  And Thanks! to these twelve people for making the commitment to share the work of the church with their tithes, talents and hands-on experience.

On-going Life Groups:  There are still plenty of on-going Life Groups that you can join anytime. Either see the Life Book pamphlet in the church lobby, sign-up on the website under Life Groups, or contact the leader of a group and come to the group of your choice. There are many types of groups to chose from, including sports, crafts, specific Bible Studies, prayer groups, and more. Attending a small Life Group is a great way to meet new people, share food, fun, prayer, and experiences.
