The words "6 Feet" that were printed on Danijela’s mask immediately caught my attention and I thought about them for many days. Especially because Danijela is a nurse.

Many people are now literally "6 feet under" because of this horrible pandemic. And in order for those of us who are currently alive to stay alive, we must practice social distance of staying at least 6 feet apart from one another. But even though we are physically so far apart, I believe that we are more spiritually connected than ever.

Mothers' Day "Visits & Gifts"

Recently, a group of men of our church delivered Mother’s Day gifts to the doorsteps of more than 100 ladies. The church of God is alive! SCFBC rocks! Here are some of the responses they made:

Kimberly: "Thank you so much. Made my day."

Caron Thor: "Great part of my day!"

Pat Graham: "Thanks for always thinking of us without children of our own. The children mean a lot to me."

Jane Yee: "Your time serving Christ is appreciated."

Pam Libed: "Thank you for the gift, it's beautiful!"

Helena: "Love my cup, thanks."

Jean Miller: "We thank you and all the gentlemen who took time to make our day so special."

Dupe: "I really appreciated the visit, not only was the gift dropped off, but Pastor Rich and his wife took the time to chat and ask about my welfare. It was good to see them, and I appreciate them taking the time to drive all the way."

Jonathan: "It was a blessing to deliver and pray for each person. Thanks for organizing."

Rich Brown: "Thank you for giving me the opportunity to help."

Larry: "They were all extremely happy to get the surprise gift. I saw a joy in their faces. It was special."
