2. Jesus Instituted A New Covenant (The Lord's Supper) And To Do It To Remember Him

Love Sacrificially and Unconditionally

"If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them." (John 13:17)

COMMANDMENT: KNOWING WHY TO LOVE (REASON) (John 12: 33-38)

1. Jesus said to His disciples, Love one another
2. Jesus said to His disciples, Love as I have loved you

"By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another." (John 12:35)

PROMISE: KNOWING GOD LOVES YOU (PERSON - SOURCE) (John 14:16-26)

"I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever." (John 14:16)

2. Jesus said to His disciples, The Helper will abide with you forever

Seek the Holy Spirit

"But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you." (John 14:26)
