Prayer
The church library just got a new DVD called "Overcomer" (2019) by the Kendrick Brothers. It reminded me that in January 2021 SCFBC will again be participating in 31 days of Fasting and Prayer. Even though we aren't meeting in person, and it is not convenient for you to borrow books and DVDs from the church library, below is a list of DVDs and books that will give examples of how prayer is helpful.
I also remembered that you may be able to watch these movies via downloading (or uploading or streaming.... social media methods). OK, so now you probably have figured out all this tech stuff is way over my head, but it probably is easy for you, so I am recommending the following Christian movies done by the Kendrick brothers. If you do a little homework or have family movie nights they may help you see the hope in prayer from these examples. The Kendricks readily admit the movies got progressively better after the first one: 22 or so novels, devotionals and childrens books have been written from the original screen plays written by the Kendrick brothers. One of their company goals and values is to honor Jesus Christ by making His truth and love known worldwide while being engaging and entertaining. Enjoy!
