Last month's Youth Sunday was a special worship service that gave the VIBE Youth an opportunity to serve the church with their spiritual gifts and talents, which included greeting church members and visitors, performing audio-visual tasks, providing ministry updates, singing, giving personal testimonies, and preaching the Word of God.
In all of these ways, the youth expressed their hearts for worship and their love of God.
The messages and testimonies that many of the youth shared arose from what each one experienced during a time of VIBE Reflection or a particular moment during the past year that had a great impact on their lives.
Pastor Jonathan expressed his gratitude for the devotion of the VIBE youth, and introduced the youth mentors. Each of them shared what they do as VIBE mentors, and described an experience that had special meaning for them during the past year.
Thank you to Allison, Nicole, Evelyn, Josie, Kevin and William for loving the youth and committing their time to VIBE every week. Special thanks also to Jerry and Greg, who drove the youth to summer camp and helped us throughout the year. Also, thank you William,for photographing Youth Sunday.
The youth were excited to be able to bless our congregation and to share how much they appreciate the support that VIBE receives from the church.
