Who Is Jesus? (John 1:1-18)

1. Jesus Always Existed

He is the eternal Word - not created.

Question:

What difference does it make that Jesus is eternal?

2. Jesus Created Everything

Nothing exists apart from Him.

Question

If Jesus created you, what are you still holding back from Him? What part of your life have you not surrendered to the One who made you?

3. Jesus Brings Light Into Darkness

Darkness cannot overcome Him.

Question:

Where do you need His light right now - career, relationships, decisions?

4. Jesus Gives the Right to Become God's Child

Salvation is received, not earned.

Question

What does it mean to "receive" Jesus personally?

5. Jesus Became Flesh

God understands human struggle.

Question:

Where do you feel alone - and have you invited Jesus there? If God understands your struggle, why hide it from Him?

6. Jesus Shows Us What God Is Like

Full of grace and truth.

Question:

If Jesus reveals a God full of grace and truth, which one do you need to receive today - and which one do you need to reflect on?
