Fall Rummage Sale Results

Our third rummage sale of this year was held in October. We were blessed with two estate donations which along with our church’s donations filled the Fellowship Hall completely! Thanks to Karen and John Pusateri, Jerry Cintas and Maxine and Lloyd Darknell who picked up multiple loads for the sale. Also, when Doris Smith found out her employer, Toys R Us, had pallets of summer toys to donate, Doris asked for a donation for our church. Some will be used for prizes for Trunk or Treat and others given where needed at Christmas. A few were sold to help Bethlehem and others were put in storage for later events.

Thanks again to Impact who worked Tuesday night before the sale to set up tables and move and unpack the many donations already received giving us a head start in our preparations. Also, thanks to all who brought donations and helped on our set up days and the days of the sale. A special thanks to all the volunteers who helped pack up the unsold item for the Salvation Army, put away the tables, vacuum, and get the Fellowship Hall in order for Sunday.

Our total proceeds were $4000.00 with $3700.00 going to Bethlehem and $300.00 to the American Baptist Women to help in their ministries. After 18 years of having these sales, we have made over $96,000 supporting the following ministries/areas: Bethlehem, Costa Rica Missions, Mexico Missions, American Baptist Women, the future Barbecue/Playground area and new church tables.

Start saving items for our next rummage sale in April/May to benefit Mexico Outreach and the future barbecue and playground area.

Thanks again to all who helped!
