SPEEDway CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

Surrender – Worshiping Jesus with my whole heart!
Partner – Enjoying life together as followers of Christ!
Educate – Learning all I can about God’s love for me!
Equip – Discovering how I can serve my church!
Deliver – Telling my friends about God’s love!

That’s the purpose of SPEEDway Children’s Ministry at Santa Clara First Baptist. Our focus as we minister to kids is to help them discover the correct path found in God’s Word. Would you like to help impact the eternal trajectory of a child’s life? There is room for you in a variety of ministries at SPEEDway. Some are directly involved with our kids while others are behind the scenes…
from caring for our infants and toddlers to organizing supplies…
from teaching our preschoolers to leading recreation time for our K-5th graders…
from planning crafts to registering new kids...
from decorating bulletin boards to presenting lively interactive lessons...
Get the idea?  There is a place for everyone to serve at SPEEDway Children’s Ministry.
All the areas of ministries are vitally important and most are on a rotation basis, serving 1-2 times a month. Sound interesting? Contact me at susi@scfbc.org or call the church office at 408-241-7635 to discuss your options and interests.

JANUARY PREVIEW

In order to adequately recruit and train children’s ministry staff for the New Year at SPEEDway, there will be no 9:00am classes on Sundays for the kids during the month of January. There will be SPEEDway Nursery and Preschool classes and Kids Worship during the worship hour; SPEEDway will open at 10:15am on Sundays in January . From our toddlers through the 5th graders, kids will be learning more about Jesus during the series, “Who Is Jesus?” This series will continue through February 15th.

LOOKING FORWARD

On February 1st, our 9:00 classes will resume for all children . Our toddlers and preschoolers will be expanding their “Who is Jesus?” lessons and our K-1st graders will be learning about the ministry of Jesus. Our 2nd-5th graders will be having their own Life Group about what being a follower of Jesus means.

PRAYER SUPPORT NEEDED!

It is my desire that all of our children come to faith in Christ and grow more fully in their understanding of what that means for their lives. I also want to see parents equipped to ensure their children are raised in homes where Christ is honored and served every day. This is a ministry that I do not take lightly and as I begin overseeing this important ministry at SCFBC, I ask for your prayer support.
