People Worldwide Will Again Unite in Prayer

Recognizing that prayer and action go hand-in-hand, we know joint prayer can be effective. Planning for the World Day of Prayer 2016, at both the national and global levels are in full gear. The next WDP will be here sooner than we think on March 4, 2016.  This is a worldwide movement of Christians that began in the U.S. and Canada in the 19th century, and became worldwide in 1927. The continuing motto for this very special day is "Informed Prayer and Prayerful Action"

Each year, on this day, Christians of many cultures, traditions, and races, in over 170 countries around the world unite in prayer. Of course, all people are always welcome and encouraged to participate.

Put the WDP 2016, on your calendars now. The theme for for this year is "Am I being Unfair to you? ".
