“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with THANKSGIVING, present your requests to God. And the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7)

Feeling and verbalizing gratitude is good for the soul. It keeps us humble and focused on others, rather than ourselves. It causes us to fix our eyes on God and examine the state of our hearts. In times of anxiety or worry, the biblical solution is to be thankful to God. In return, the peace of God will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Below are some words of thankfulness from members of our congregation. May they encourage and lift you up in this season of Thanksgiving!
