Easter books and other media celebrating Easter are featured in the "Book Nook" throughout April
Easter isn't just a time for handsome bow ties and pretty dresses. Easter is time for the celebration of our dear Savior's resurrection. It is a time for reflection of what Jesus did for us on the cross. On Good Friday, April 19th, from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., you are invited to come at any time during those hours to do the Journey to the Cross, where you can reflect on the things Christ faced as He approached the cross – just because God asked Him to do it. Then, on Easter morning we can celebrate His resurrection. What a story! He has risen, indeed!
Throughout April, the Book Nook in the church lobby will have books and materials that reflect on this wonderful "Easter Story." We hope you will share these books and materials with your children and with others.

Thank you for your recent donations of books and other materials for the library. Many of them will be added to the library's collection. Others will be offered for free during the "Backpack Giveaway" at SCFBC's "2019 HOPE Silicon Valley" in August; and for the "Operation Christmas Child" boxes that are sent to "Samaritan's Purse" during the Christmas holiday season.
