Spiritual Crossfit

April 7 - 9:00AM – 3:00PM

This free, one day all church retreat will help prepare you to be fully engaged in the work for which God has called us as a church.

Church Retreat – Spiritual Crossfit will provide you with expert training in one of a selection of areas where you feel you need strengthening. It will also put the church on the same “sheet of music” for the direction and emphasis of what we hope to accomplish in growing God’s kingdom, here in the Valley and around the world.

The day will include:

• An opening session with Pastor Valui where he will provide an update on Vision 2020.
• Guest Speaker: Pastor Pete Shaw from CrossWalk Church, Napa
• Lunch (provided) and fellowship activities
• Afternoon breakout session of your choice to help you grow personally (more information below)
• Closing time to share how God has spoken to you

The day is for both new Christians and those who have been walking with God for many years. By the end of the day, participants will better understand the direction of the church, where they as individuals can help, and will be better prepared to accomplish the Vision. We want to make it easy for all to attend, so childcare will be provided.

1 Cor 9:24-27 The Need for Self-Discipline

Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such away as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.
