Bible in 90 Days
From January 18 to April 18 the entire church will be reading the entire Bible in 90 days. A special NIV Bible is available from the office that has the Bible broken down into daily readings, or you can use your own Bible with a daily reading guide available in the lobby on Sundays. Reading plans are available here
Journey to the Cross
Friday April 2nd from 10am to 9pm in the church sanctuary. Come and follow in Jesus' final footsteps as you experience what Jesus did on his way to the cross. The sanctuary has been transformed into a self guided prayer labyrinth with special lighting and decorations. This is not an experience to be missed. photos
Easter Sunday
Sunday April 4th. Come and celebrate the resurrection of our Lord! This entire morning will be filled with the celebration of Christ's victory over sin and death. We will begin the day with an All-Church Family Breakfast at 9:00am. Our Celebration Service will be held at 10:30am. Once again we will join our morning and EDGE congregations in celebration, bringing the best elements of both into our worship. We will bring back our "rock orchestra" which includes the EDGE band, our SCFBC orchestra and our choir. As one family of God we'll raise up a joyful noise to the Lord in celebration.
The children will have their own special morning worship as they learn about the most awesome of God's miracles – the resurrection of Jesus! An Egg Hunt will follow the morning service which means we need your Egg Hunt Donations! Starting March 14th donations of candy and plastic eggs will be collected in the large tubs in the Lobby labeled "Easter Egg Hunt." Contact Pastor Jenny for more information.
