The VIBE Youth Group had a fulfilling and blessed year. Some of the highlights were the salvations of Alexis, Sierra, and Izzy; and preparing and baptizing Alexis, Emma, Camille, and Keren together at the end of the summer.
And there were many big events, including Youth Sunday, Graduation Shout Out, Summer Camp at Camp Sugar Pine, a fun-filled lock-in Winter Camp inside the Fellowship Hall, Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, Mini Golf, Swim Party, Dell'Osso Corn Maze, Box Maze, Bake Sale, Homeless Outreach, and our Thanksgiving and Christmas Celebrations.
This year the youth served the church through greeting, AV tech, worship, helping the children make their way from the church service to their Sunday time together, and helping with KIDZone. The youth also served at Hope Silicon Valley, Light the Night, and Bethlehem.
This year, we also created a prayer culture through weekly prayer prompts and interactive prayer stations.
I am grateful that our youths' faith in God and their relationship with Him grew by engaging in God's Word and our teaching themes for the year: How to See God, Renewal, Spirit, Fearless, Filtered, Prayer, The Story We Live In, Vision, The Word, and Advent. We look forward to what 2024 has in store for us!
