August 2023

We are still deep in the Old Testament! We have listened to the prophet Isaiah, King Josiah, and Daniel and his three friends. We have also seen how God is Holy, how He protects us, and how His Word makes our lives grow ever better. We are called to stand strong for Him, no matter what happens to us.  


For the month of August, we will learn more about the Old Testament:
August 6: Nehemiah Seeks God's Forgiveness for Israel. (Nehemiah 1:1-2:9)
August 13: Nehemiah Rebuilds the Wall. (Nehemiah 2:11-6:19)
August 20: Esther Saves Her People. (Esther 2-9)
August 27: Job Remains Faithful in Suffering. (Job 1:1-2:10; 42:1-6, 10-17)
