Life Worth Sacrificing For

"The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep." John 10:10-11
INTRODUCTION
Jesus came into this world because your life is worth sacrificing for. The Sacrifice of Jesus elevated Him to the place of highest honor. Christ came to elevate you from a damaged life and eternal destruction. The death and resurrection of Jesus demonstrate the relentless determination of God to elevate His people. Those who are raised in Christ live an elevated life.
THE NECESSITY OF JESUS TO BE BORN INTO THE WORLD
"I have come." John 10:10
Jesus had to be born into the world. God communicated and demonstrated the necessity of a sinless savior to elevate His people.
Sin and defilement damaged the relationship between God and Humankind
THE NECESSITY AND THE REALITY OF JESUS LIVING IN THE WORLD
"...that they may have life." John 10:10Jesus had to live in the world. God's plan for eternal life included the necessity of a sinless savior to give life. Repentance restores your relationship with God
THE NECESSITY OF JESUS SACRIFICING HIS LIFE FOR THE WORLD
"The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep." John 10:11Jesus had to die for the world. God's plan for salvation included the necessity of a sinless savior to sacrifice his own life. Sacrifice brought salvation
God is holy and humankind has to be acceptable to have a relationship with God

CONCLUSION
Jesus sacrificed His life for you so you can come closer to God.
His sacrifice reconciles and draws you closer to God.
Christ died for you because your life is worth sacrificing for.
