Open Door
Walking through God-given Opportunities and Possibilities
Sunday January 6th, 2019 - Pastor Wungreiso Valui
Revelation 3:8

"I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name." Revelation 3:8

INTRODUCTION

An open door is an invitation to access the God-given opportunities and possibilities that he offers us. Jesus is the key to heavenly inheritance, and we enter through Him.

WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT GOD?

Holy: God Is Unlike Any Other gods
We often attribute God answering our prayers and accomplishing great things because of our personal holiness and godliness, rather than from God's faithfulness. God is faithful and He blesses us accordingly.

Works: The Fire Will Test Each One's Work
We often focus on the amount of work we do for God rather than the attitude of how we work. God is interested in our motive, rather than the magnitude of work we do.

See: Keep Your Eyes On Jesus
We are constantly preoccupied with what we can offer ourselves, rather than looking at what God offers to us. God is calling our attention to look at what He has prepared for us.

Open Door: The Power To Enter And Access Into The Eternal Kingdom Of God
We are often distracted by many doors open to us. We keep opening many doors and keep missing the door that promises your future. Jesus is the door.

WHAT GOD KNOWS ABOUT YOU

Little Strength: Discovering The Power Of The Holy Spirit
We often rely on our strength to accomplish great things, rather than surrendering to God's strength. When we surrender to God, He delivers.

My Word: The Life, Teaching And Command Of Jesus
We often choose to do what seems to be right in our own eyes, rather than continuing to practice and do what Jesus commanded us to do.

My Name: The Name Of Jesus And What He Stands For
We often call on the names of everyone else, except the name of Jesus, who is the name above all names.

CONCLUSION

"I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture." John 10:9
