Living Sacrifice

Luke 24:44-48 and Romans 12:1-2

"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God." (Romans 12:1-2) NKJV

"Repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And you are witnesses of these things." (Luke 24:47-48)

God's love transforms people to be a living sacrifice

God Is Love

Easter Sunday is the perfect love story and Love changes everything for the good.

Love is the answer to three existential questions

• 1.Who Is God? God is Love: "He who does not love does not know God, for God is love." (1 John 4:8)
• 2. Who Am I? You are a child of God, Who loved you first and died for you: "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)
• 3. Why Do I Exist? You exist to love God and to love your neighbors: "One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, 'Of all the commandments, which is the most important?' 'The most important one,' answered Jesus, 'is this: Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.'" (Mark 12:28-31)

Resurrection Is The Unfailing Love Of God For You

God's Love is a Love that never fails.

God's Love covers all wrongs and a multitude of sins.

There is nothing greater than Love, and God is Love.

Lessons From The Miracle Of The Passover And The Resurrection

1. The miracle of Passover directs us on how to live our lives. This is especially true in uncertain times.
2. The miracle of the Passover teaches us to wait patiently on God, to trust in God and to remain resolute and resilient. Never give up, because God is never late and He will never forsake you.
3. After 100 years of slavery, God delivered His people from captivity in Egypt after He brought plagues upon the land and its people.
4. The miracle and power of the Resurrection promise us real hope and peace in our everyday lives.

Living Sacrifices To God

"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service." (Romans 12:1)

1. Jesus showed us how to live.
2. When we Love as Jesus loved, we willingly present our bodies as a living sacrifice.
3. When we Love God, He makes our lives Holy.
4. When we Love our neighbors, we are following Jesus' command.
5. Loving others is what Jesus has called us to do.

Be Transformed

"And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed." (Romans 12:2)

Sacrifice requires Love, and Love transforms us.

Remember the words of Jesus:

"Then He said to them, 'Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem." (Luke 24:46-47)

Jesus suffered for our sins so that we can be transformed.

Jesus was crucified so that we can be transformed.

Jesus died and rose again so that we can be transformed.

Resurrection is the only meaningful game-changer.

Renew Your Mind

"And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God." (Romans 12:2)

You will transform your mind when you repent of your sins and experience the real Love of God.

"Repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And you are witnesses of these things." (Luke 24:47-48)

You are witnesses of these things.

You are witnesses of the Resurrection of Jesus.

Therefore, connect people to the real God in order for them to experience real Love.

Love is the only answer to a meaningful life.

Love is the only answer to our spiritual quests.

Love is the only answer to our existential questions.

Love Is All.
