I. The Message

  • A. Luke 5:16 - "But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed."
  • B. We can become like Jesus by abiding in Him. We can multiply and be fruitful when we abide in Him.
  • C. Prioritize time with Jesus to shape and become like Jesus.

II. Prioritize Your Time To Be With Jesus: Becoming Like Jesus

  • A. Matthew 14:23 - Jesus' habit of spending time alone with God.
  • B. Mark 1:35 - Jesus' discipline in prioritizing time alone with God.
  • C. Luke 5:16 - Jesus' consistent practice of seeking solitude for prayer.

III. Why Is The Spiritual Discipline of Praying and Fasting Important?

VI. How Can We Achieve Fruitfulness?

VIII. How Can We Abide in Jesus?
