Sunday May 10, 2026 - Pastor Wungreiso Valui
Genesis 6-9

"So God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them: 'Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth.'" -Genesis 9:1

1. Faithfulness Without Recognition: Noah's wife was not named.

Genesis 6:18 | But I will establish My covenant with you; and you shall go into the ark - you, your sons, your wife, and your sons' wives with you.

Question: Am I willing to be faithful even when I am not recognized?

Application: Choose to serve someone this week without expecting acknowledgment-do it as worship to God.

2. Trusting God Through Your Partner's Calling - God spoke to Noah, but she walked in obedience too.

Genesis 7:7 | So Noah, with his sons, his wife, and his sons' wives, went into the ark because of the waters of the flood.

Question: Can I trust God when the direction comes through someone else?

Application: Support and pray for your spouse or family member's calling this week, even if it stretches you.

3. Faith in the Waiting: No clear timeline, only trust.

Genesis 8:1 | Then God remembered Noah.

Question: Will I trust God even when I don't see progress?

Application: Identify one area you're waiting on God and commit to praying daily over it this week.

4. Partnering in God's New Beginning: She stepped into a reset world.

Genesis 9:1 | So God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them: "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth.

Question: Am I ready to embrace the new thing God is doing?

Application: Take one step toward something new God is prompting-initiate, rebuild, or restore.

5. The Power of Quiet Influence: She shaped a family that carried God's covenant forward.

Question: What kind of spiritual legacy am I building quietly?

Application: Speak one intentional word of faith or blessing over your children or family this week.
