The Quest on the Book of Isaiah
God's Vision For A Better Nation
Sunday July 5, 2026 - Pastor Wungreiso Valui
Isaiah 5:1-7

Opening Question: What's your favorite fruit, and why?

Why Isaiah Matters Today: Isaiah spoke to people who were outwardly religious but far from God inwardly. People today also face pressure, pride, injustice, fake faith, and confusion. Isaiah reminds us that God still calls people back and offers forgiveness.

The Vineyard

  1. God planted with love. He gave His people everything they needed.
  2. God looked for good fruit. He wanted justice, righteousness, obedience, and love.
  3. Bad fruit reveals the heart. Sin is not just behavior; it shows what is happening inside us.
  4. God still invites us back. Isaiah 1:18 shows that God forgives and cleanses.

Next Step This Week

Ask God: "Lord, what fruit is growing in my life?" Then choose one action that shows real faith: forgive someone, tell the truth, pray daily, help someone, or obey God in one specific area.

Discussion Questions

  • 1. What kind of "fruit" is growing in your life right now?
  • 2. Is it possible to look Christian on the outside but be far from God inside?
  • 3. What is one area where God is calling you to come back to Him?
  • 4. What does Isaiah 1:18 teach us about God's forgiveness?
  • 5. How can we live with love?

MEMORIZE: Isaiah 1:18

"Come now, and let us reason together," says the Lord, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow."
