The Quest on the Book of Isaiah
God Has Become My Salvation
Sunday July 12, 2026 - Pastor Wungreiso Valui
Isaiah 6-12

MEMORIZE - Isaiah 12:2

"Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; 'For YAH, the LORD, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation.'"

The Story of Isaiah 7-12: These chapters move from crisis and fear to promise, Messiah, salvation, and praise. God's people face darkness, but God promises Immanuel, the Child-King, the Branch from Jesse, and finally a song of salvation.

Two Opening Questions:

  • 1. What is one song that means something special to you, and what is the story behind it?
  • 2. Name one name or title of God that is meaningful to you.

Isaiah 6-12 at a Glance

Focus Discussion - Isaiah 12

  • 1. What changes in a person when fear is replaced by trust in God? (v. 2)
  • 2. What do you think it means to "draw water from the wells of salvation"? (v. 3)
  • 3. Why does salvation lead to thanksgiving and praise? (vv. 4-5)
  • 4. How can you "make known His deeds among the peoples" today? (v. 4)
  • 5. What situation in your life needs the truth: "God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid"?

Next Step

  1. Name one fear you are carrying.
  2. Pray Isaiah 12:2 over it each day this week.
  3. Then tell one person something God has done in your life.
