Acts 1

"But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." (Acts 1:8)

How do you explain why ordinary people are able to do extraordinary things that seem to defy natural explanation? The Holy Spirit: This Person explains why extraordinary things are done by ordinary people.

People are not inspired by what you do; they are inspired by why you do it. Compelling and attractive faith is not what you do and what you believe; compelling and attractive faith is why you do it and why you believe. The goal is to inspire people to follow Jesus, not because we have to, but because we want to. The Holy Spirit within us has the ability to inspire those around us.
