Acts 6 & 7

"Then they cried out with a loud voice, stopped their ears, and ran at him with one accord; and they cast him out of the city and stoned him. And the witnesses laid down their clothes at the feet of a young man named Saul. And they stoned Stephen as he was calling on God and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. Then he knelt down and cried out with a loud voice, Lord, do not charge them with this sin. And when he had said this, he fell asleep." (Acts 6:57-60)

With God's grace, people full of faith and the Holy Spirit can accomplish great things among the people.

Why Was Stephen A Great Witness For Christ?

STEPHEN WAS:

• FULL OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
• FULL OF FAITH
• FULL OF GRACE

"But he, being full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God, and said, 'Look! I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!" (Act 7:55-56)

When you teach, full of the Holy Spirit, people are convicted by the wisdom of the Holy Spirit.

FULL OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

1. Stephen - Full Of The Holy Spirit - Saw The Glory Of God And Jesus At The Right Hand Of God
   "And they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and the Holy Spirit." (Acts 6:5)
2. Stephen Spoke Through The Holy Spirit And His Wisdom Was Irresistible
   "And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the Spirit by which he spoke." (Acts 6:10)

When you serve God in great faith, He increases the fruit of your labor according to the measure of your faith.

"They cast him out of the city and stoned him. And the witnesses laid down their clothes at the feet of a young man named Saul. And they stoned Stephen as he was calling on God and saying, 'Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.'" (Acts 7:58-59)

FULL OF FAITH

1. Stephen Was A Man Full Of Faith And Willing To Die For It
   "And they stoned Stephen as he was calling on God and saying, 'Lord Jesus, receive my spirit." (Act 7:59)
2. Stephen Served And Preached With Great Faith And The Disciples Multiplied Greatly
   "Then the word of God spread, and the number of the disciples multiplied greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests were obedient to the faith." (Acts 6:7)

   "And Stephen, full of grace and power, did great wonders and signs among the people." (Acts 6:8)
