Reflect

In October, Reflect continued a series learning the basics of what followers of Jesus at SCFBC believe. We have learned about the Trinity, the Church, and most recently, the Bible. Also in October, we started a new group on Sunday nights called "Sticky Faith" for high school seniors and recent graduates. In this group we are learning basic life skills in addition to ways of keeping our faith through the tough college years.

We also visited the Corn Maze in Lathrop with the Jr High group. We had a blast getting lost in the maze, zip-lining, getting scared in the haunted house, and eating food.

Element

We have also been following the Transforming Truths lessons with the rest of the church. The kids have been learning about some foundational concepts of Christianity, and it has been really helpful.

We had a going away party for Brandon, as he is moving to Georgia. We will miss him.

Youth Leaders Convention

Most of the youth mentors went to San Diego in October and attended the National Youth Workers Convention. It was very inspiring to be with 2000 other youth workers just like us who are constantly facing the challenges of training and equipping students.
