Mexico Team Leader
July 2014

For the past eight years, our high school youth have joined Azusa Pacific University’s Mexico Outreach. In June, God blessed us again in partnering with a church in Ensenada, Iglesia Misiones Internacionales de Mexico. Our team of 19 teenagers, adults, and children provided a VBS program for the local community. We led in dramas, puppet shows, crafts, and games to teach the children about the love of Jesus. A new highlight this year was hosting a youth night where 25 teenagers from the local community joined us in playing games, singing, hearing testimonies and Bible lessons and of course, eating pizza.

It is always eye-opening to travel to another country, getting a different perspective on life and how God is working in the world. We travel to Mexico to love and serve, but every year we feel like we receive more than we give as the local church pours out its love on our team. We are thankful for the partnership we have with Pastor Ramón and his wife Ana. Please continue to remember them in your prayers as they seek to reach their local community and the indigenous communities in Mexico with the love of Christ.
