The theme this year was “Favor.” “Give your servant success today by granting him favor with the king” (Nehemiah 1:11). Our prayer request was to draw close to God and to each other. The worship band "This Hope" and camp speaker Brian Holland inspired us, leading to meaningful conversations during our small group time together. The main questions we reflected on were, “Is Jesus Worth it?” and “Are you all in for Jesus?”
Our youth had fun zip-lining, hiking, playing carpetball and basketball, making crafts and playing competitive games of spoons together for hours.
Thank you for praying for us and supporting our youth spaghetti dinner fundraiser, which supported most of the camp registration fees and transportation. I am happy to report that our relationship with God and each other has become closer.
It was incredible that God blessed us with snow on Sunday evening and Monday, which was so magical and beautiful. Snow Camp this year was very enjoyable and we look forward to going again next year.
