Building a Culture of Compassionate Love.
At SCFBC, we nurture a culture of compassionate love, rather than the world's culture of ruthless competition.  We respect the person, rather than their position in society. We are a family of believers who value and care for one another, and for all those who join together with us to worship God.

The church is thankful for the leaders of our many ministries, for the teachers of our children and youth, for those who lead our Life Groups, and for our board members. Whatever the challenges we may face, we face those challenges together as many members in the one Body of Christ.

In December, the church hosted a Christmas celebration that brought together our staff, board members, and their families. The event was filled with joy and levity, thanks to the entertaining games orchestrated by our board chairman, Jon Hammer. The food and hospitality at the restaurant were organized by Greg Robbins, our Hospitality Director, and his work is greatly appreciated. During the evening, the adults were heartened to see the children of our staff and board members express how much they enjoyed the evening.

Our ultimate goal at SCFBC is to foster a love that goes well beyond the joys of fun, laughter, games, food, and gift-giving. We are dedicated to creating loving relationships within our church as we embrace unity in our commitment to serving God.
