Pastor Josue and his wife Rosita continue to work with the kids and youth in the small villages in and around Jucuaran, El Salvador.
They provide transportation to these children through a pickup truck in and out of these villages to get to and from school and to do homework at the church. This transportation is provided so they won't have to walk up to 2 hours from their homes to Jucuaran. Monthly they pay $100 for this pickup service. Most of these children come to the church to receive the free lunch meal because they can't afford the cheapest daily meal plan of $3. Basic lunch is beans, rice, corn tortillas, and on occasion spaghetti, which costs the church $300 a month to provide these meals.
Articles of clothing and supplies that are sent through the boxes are given to the children of the church first and then the pastor and his wife distribute the rest to the different villages to the families in need. With these supplies, they also provide your basic food essentials. This is all possible because of SCFBC's help. SCFBC is making a difference in blessing families in need and providing kids with an education. God bless each and every one who has taken part in this mission.
