Baptisms on Fathers' Day Sunday
Please offer your congratulations to the three people who were baptized on Fathers' Day, June 16 – Joe and Sarah Murphy, and Paloma D'Avila. I hope you were at the service to witness these baptisms and see the joy on their faces.

Also, please be sure to welcome Andy Ching, Kristine Fry, and Erich Walker, who recently made the commitment to join Santa Clara First Baptist Church after attending the "Introduction to SCFBC" class. During the worship service on Sunday June 30, they each received a "Here to Serve" towel as a reminder that it is God's plan for all of us at SCFBC to serve one another and be a good neighbor.
The "Introduction to SCFBC" class is now "GodTrack"
Well, at this point in the article I would normally be inviting you to attend the "Introduction to Santa Clara First Baptist Church" class. However, Pastor Valui has updated his presentation and now offers the class as the monthly, four-part "GodTrack" series. Each month, the first two classes cover the material from the former "Introduction Class," while the second two classes include additional information about the life of the church, and how the church serves people in need – locally, regionally and nationally. If you are interested in learning more about baptism, church membership, or how to serve others in one of the church's many ministries, please sign up for a GodTrack class that is convenient for you.
How to Sign Up for "GodTrack"
There are three ways to sign up. First, you can do it online at www.scfbc.org. Once you are on the Home Page, click on NEXT STEPS. When the drop-down menu appears, click on GODTRACK. Next, read the description of the class in the yellow box, and then add your full name and email address in the boxes provided. Finally, click on the box with "RSVP to GodTrack," and you'll be enrolled. Second, you can write GodTrack – and your contact information – on a Connection Card, and drop it in the offering plate. Or third, you sign up by calling the church office at 408-241-7635.
