Green light for Thailand
We thought the idea of 'Where the Williams Are' might be an appropriate theme for this next year of our ministry. Currently, five of us are spending our last four weeks here in Olympia, Washington. Ian is finishing up his first commercial fishing season in Alaska, and will rejoin us at the end of the month, just two days before we leave for the Conference for Missionaries in Maryland. After that, we will participate in the "Hear the Call," which is also in Maryland, from the 9th to the 11th of August, before returning to Olympia. Currently, our departure for Thailand is scheduled for the 15th of August.
This past year has flown by. We have had a wonderful time catching up with old friends and meeting new ones. It is hard to believe that our time in the States is quickly coming to a close. In just about four weeks we will be getting on yet another plane, saying "Goodbye!" to one home and "Hello!" to another as we head to northern Thailand.
We are so thankful for all the support we have received from many of you as we've shared our new opportunity to serve the Kingdom in Southeast Asia. Soon, Katrina and I will be heading to Portland to secure our visas. Please pray that our trip to the consulate turns out well.
