This year’s theme: Undignified

After being held captive for many years, the Ark of the Covenant was being returned to Jerusalem. While the Levites were carrying the Ark into the city, King David, “girded with a linen ephod danced before the Lord with all his might” in the public square. His wife scolded him for his actions, to which David basically said, “I did it for God, not for you.” And he continued by saying, “I will become even more undignified than this, and I will be humiliated in my own eyes.”

At Redwood Glen, we do all we do for God. We celebrate before the Lord. The celebrations may look undignified to others, but we rejoice in His love, and in His kindness. We celebrate what He has done and look forward as we anticipate what He will do. We invite you to join us in celebrating and dancing before the Lord with all your might.
