What is your "New Normal"?

I will be calling friends and family more often to find out how they are feeling, what they are doing, and how they are handling the mandated "Shelter-in-Place."

I find that I am fighting my natural inclination to "go out and help someone," because I'm in the "vulnerable" age group, so being near others creates a risk for both of us. We are all at risk of becoming infected with the virus. And we all are vulnerable to the pain and suffering that the infection brings.

Leaders throughout the world, and My Lord, are telling us, and me, to stay home. To use this time to put my house in order – literally! To do my spring cleaning: Recycle. Reuse. Repair.

As we read Psalm 46:10 David quotes God: "Be still and know I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth."  Because I desire to "Be Still," I am praying more and reading the Word more. I also have the desire to continue to pray more and read the Bible more when the pandemic is controlled.
