2020 Turkey give away
The week before Thanksgiving, God made it possible to bless 40 or so families and friends of SCFBC with supplies for a Thanksgiving meal and a little bit extra. Thank you to the Robbins family for the idea, for shopping, delivering and giving away the food supplies at this critical time of need. .
Life Track: Membership Zoom Class
Formerly called "Intro to SCFBC Membership": Pastor Valui has rescheduled the meeting to Tuesday, December 15th at 7:00pm. If you are interested in attending, please let Pastor Valui know at valui@scfbc.org and he will send you the Zoom invitation information a few days prior to the meeting. He will explain SCFBC membership and answer any questions you may have about SCFBC. Please let him know if you are ready to make this commitment to the life of our church.
Calling instead of in-person visiting
Since we can't meet in person during Sunday Service and visit with each other over cookies and coffee afterwards, some of us brew our own coffee at home and make calls to other church friends and chat or pray awhile. It does our heart good to be able to meet over the phone and find out how others are spending their time during the stay-at-home order to keep us well. Remember to reach out to someone - family, friends, church friends - because we are all in this together.
How are you doing? Please let us know by either an email to the church office at office@scfbc.org or a call at 408-241-7635. Trudy is scheduled to answer the church phone Monday through Friday 9am to 4pm, and when necessary she is sends Prayer Chain requests.
OR of course, you can always find us on Facebook at facebook.com/SantaClaraFirstBaptist and join the community either during the week or after you view the Sunday sermon at 10:30am. If you are unable to connect with us Sunday morning, the sermon is on the church web page all the time so you can catch up when it is convenient for you.
OR if you or anyone you know doesn't have or want to access a computer, then we are also making DVDs of the weekly sermon available to those who need them. if you would like to receive DVDs, please let Trudy know (phone 408-241-7635 or email office@scfbc.org), and we will make sure you receive one weekly.
