We decided to have an in-person Easter celebration for our little ones who have braved a tough year. We last met in person more than a year ago and since then have been meeting together online on KIDZoom. On Easter, the older and younger kids met outside in the Courtyard at different times, wearing masks and maintaining social distancing. We are learning and teaching OUT OF THE BOX!
The KIDZ and their parents teamed up to make "Resurrection Pots" to take home. We also painted crosses, made "Resurrection Rolls," and ate them! This year the Easter baskets were very special, being filled with eggs, candy, trinkets, and personal notes from all of our volunteers. We love our KIDZ – the Kids in Discipleship Zone!
KIDZone will be back in In-Person on May 9, Mother's Day, in the Community Park. We have an amazing outdoor space and we are planning crafts, snacks, and games.
