WELCOME TO NEW MEMBERS
On Sunday, January the 17th, Pastor Valui extended the "Right Hand of Fellowship" (currently, with COVID-19, a right-fist bump) to Alex and Miji, welcomed them as new members, and presented them their "Here to Serve" towels.
The SCFBC Board has also approved the request of Church Membership for Berne and Ramona, and for Brandy. Please help us welcome them as members of the church, and please pray for them. Berne, as you may know, is recovering from a broken hip and Brandy is recovering from extensive dental work. The church will be praying for wellness for each of you. Congratulations and welcome to SCFBC! Berne, Ramona, and Brandy will receive the Right Hand of Fellowship at a later time.
BABY DEDICATION
On Sunday, January 24th, Matt and Kimberly, and their oldest son, Josuha, had a Baby Dedication at SCFBC for their youngest son, Zackery. They gave their commitments to raising Zackery in a Christian family, and to teach him about the Gospel as he grows older and understands the meaning of Jesus dying on the cross to save him from his sins. The congregation was asked to come alongside to partner with them.
LIFE GROUPS
Remember to sign up for Life Groups, which began on Sunday, January 31, and will run through Sunday, April 24th. You can sign-up on the www.scfbc.org website, or you may use your online Connection Card to sign up. Life Groups are a nice way to meet virtually with a small group of friends during the week.
