"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." (Joshua 1:9)

We started reading the Old Testament as a church in September 2020. As we now move from winter to the spring of 2021, we will start with the historical book of Joshua on January 30th, and continue to read all the way to June 17, when we will finish the book of Esther. The book of Joshua begins with him just beginning his leadership of the people of Israel after the death of Moses. How can we, as people of Christ, lead our family, community, and nation "...for such a time as this?" (Ester 4:13-14). Reading Scripture will lead you through this year with "strong and courageous" faith. Good spiritual disciplines, like reading the Bible, praying, meditating, keeping a journal, or joining a small group of other Believers to do life together will strengthen your faith.

The Winter/Spring trimester starts on Sunday, January 31st, and ends on Sunday, April 24th. You can sign up by visiting scfbc.org/lg. Once you sign up, your Life Group leader will contact you with information about the group.
