The Presence of Unknown Gardeners and an Architect of Nature. Our Creator’s Presence is everywhere to be seen in this valley. Sometimes we may be in one of those places, but overlook the life that is there for us to see.

This month’s photos were taken at Lowe’s in Sunnyvale, at Kaiser Permanente on Lawrence Expressway, and in Gladys McFarland’s backyard. The gardeners of the plants & flowers in the Lowe's and Kaiser photos are anonymous. Nature's builders were elsewhere when the photos were taken.

Spring flowers in many small containers at Lowe's Nursery in Sunnyvale.

Dead & dying leaves amid the new plants & flowers in Lowe's Sunnyvale parking lot.

A watercolor version of a single lavender flower in Lowe's Sunnyvale parking lot.

Lonely bud on a bush outside the exit door of Kaiser's westside lobby.

A closer look also shows the remains of the recent rain.

This good-sized bird's nest is also just outside the westside exit door at Kaiser.

Perhaps the great number of rugged thorns convinced the parents that their babies were safer here than elsewhere, regardless of the hundreds of people passing by the nest day & night.

Here in the northwest corner is this year's first sign of life in Gladys' backyard.
