DEFINE WINS IN TIMES OF CRISIS

During these unprecedented times, you have shown grit and resilience.

Continue to keep up the good work. As parents, teachers, leaders, you need to make things happen and show up in crisis for your family, your students, your team and the people you lead.

Focus

  • Focus On What We Can Do
  • Do Not Focus On What We Cannot Do

Planning

Lead your ministry team and feed their spiritual, mental, physical and emotional needs. Have a plan.

You can do any of these:

  • Meet virtually or in person to catch up once a week, once a month
  • Meet virtually or in person to pray once a week, once a month
  • Meet virtually or in person to read the Bible Reading Plan once a week, once a month
  • Send encouraging email or text an update on what is happening in our church once a week, or once a month
  • Come up with your own plans

Finding New Models

You may have a perfect model working in the past but that model may not be working now. Don’t stress and put more energy and effort into “How Can I Make The Old Model Work?” That is the wrong question. Come up with a new model.

Now is the time to TRY to do things about which people say, “This will never work.”

Defining Wins

Be people specific, environment specific and not building or campus specific.

  • What is a win for our team?
  • What is a win for this season?

Keeping It Simple and Real

In crisis, simple and real beats polished, professional, and perfect. People know we are all working from home and making the best of our situations.
